School clubs

We run a wide range of after school clubs which are free to pupils.  Reception class have their own dedicated club.  For more details on clubs please contact the school office.

Nigel Willard runs our KS1 after school sports club details follow;

Lunchtime Club - Wednesday - Recorder

Lunchtime Club Thursday - Positive Play - free club no cost to parents

Between now and Xmas we are delivering our Lunchtime Activity Programme at your child’s school called Positive Play. Through these sessions we aim to engage children that otherwise may be inactive or even lonely at lunchtimes. Activities are not just for ‘sporty’ children and in fact we aim to provide activities for those who are ‘semi-sporty’ or currently disengaged with sports and physical activity.

Our coach will be on the playground for the entire lunchtime and activities are ‘free-flow’ for children to join in and out as they wish. Most of the activities use minimal equipment which helps to encourage them to play these games on the lunchtimes we are not at the school or even out of school hours with their friends. Children will not need any specialist equipment or sports kit to take part as they participate in their school uniform.

We hope through these sessions we can show the school what our activities aim to do and the benefits for the children as well as teach the children some new games and activities as well as engage those children that otherwise struggle for active ideas whilst on the playground

Lunchtime Club Friday - Multi-Sports - free club no cost to parents
