On Thursday the children performed at our Harvest Festival in St Lauds Church. We spent the morning harvesting fruit and vegetables from our own grounds and were amazed by the amount we had managed to grow.
The children took home school grown carrots, apples, runner beans, rainbow chard and sage after the service. We have left the pumpkins to get a bit bigger!
The children sang, and performed poems. Showed sketches and a collage and also performed The Little Red Hen Rap.
It was so lovely to have children and parents in the church once more. Our value for this half term is Thankfulness and we were indeed very thankful that we could all be together.
